BETHLEHEM, PA –
Austin Devereux (Brielle, NJ/Manasquan) led the Rider University men's golf team with a six-over performance, good for 14
th individually, at the Lehigh University Invitational Friday and Saturday as the Broncs finished 10
th out of 14 teams in the tournament (310-317-627). The tournament wraps up the Broncs' Fall season.
Joey Lostombo (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) was the Broncs' next-best finisher at 153, good for 28
th, while
Rick van der Nat (Noordwijk, The Netherlands/Visser 't Hooft) shot 159 (T47th).
Jack Urban (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) also shot 165 (T66th), while
Louie Giovacchini (Windermere, FL/Windermere) rounded out the competitors for the Broncs at 171 (73
rd).
NOTES
- Harvard took the team title at 586 (+10).
- Siena's Nolan Crowley was named medalist after shooting two-under (142). Harvard's Brian Ma also shot -2, but Crowley took the honor based on a lower second-round score.
- The Broncs finished fifth of five MAAC schools in the field behind Siena (588), Fairfield (599), Iona (604) and Monmouth (615).
