PROVIDENCE, RI – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team continued action at the 2018 Bruno Invite hosted by Brown University on Saturday. The three-day event at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center and features seven teams on the women's side and six on the men's.
After two days, the Broncs are in seventh-place with 104.5 points.
To start the day, the Rider 200 medley relay of
Taylor Stalnaker (Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury),
Kyra Schwerzler (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Regional),
Kylie McMahon (Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's) and
Olivia Iswalt (Reading, PA/Berks Catholic) came in 10-place, thanks to posting a time of 1:45.83.
Freshman
Anastasia Aleksandrova (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick Township) finished in 23rd overall and seventh in the C Final of the 400 IM.
Classmates
Caylie Cardona (Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan) and Schwerzler finished in 12th and 14th overall in the 100 breast. Cardona ended with a time of 1:05.13 and Schwerzler touched at 1:05.48. Also in the event,
Maire Wilson (Kennett Square, PA/Saint Mark's) ended up in 23rd thanks to a time of 1:07.84. Â
In the 100 back, Stalnaker earned points thanks to finish 14th with a time of 57.28.
