Biography
2018-19
- Named the MAAC Women's Swimmer of the Week on December 5.
- Broke a 14-year program record in the 200 breast with a time of 2:22.27 at the Bruno Invite.
- Finished seventh in the 100 breast at the MAAC Championships with a time of 1:06.67.
- Came in 10th in the 200 breast at the MAAC Championships at 2:24.35.
- Won the 100 breast in a dual meet with Lafayette.
- Won the 100 breast and 200 breast in a dual meet at home versus Siena.
BEFORE RIDER
Was a four-year member of the varsity swimming team at Manalapan High School…during her interscholastic career, she was tabbed as her team’s MVP and broke the school record in the 100 breaststroke twice during her senior season…she also swims club for the Red Bank Swim Team.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Wanda and Pedro Cardona…majoring in biology…minoring in art…hobbies include: art, gardening and sea shell collecting…has one brother…works as a lifeguard.
