Women's Swimming and Diving Fifth After Day Two at MAAC Championships

GENEVA, OH – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team sits fifth following day two of competition at the 2026 MAAC Championships. The Broncs have accumulated 248 points at the meet. Marist currently leads the way with 457 points.
 
Donja Tripp (Bethlehem, PA/Notre Dame) had the top individual swim for the Broncs on day two, swimming 23.77 in the 50-free to earn seventh.
 
To close out the day, Tripp, Casey Morgan (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.), Sonya Mishakova (Bali, Indonesia/Australian Independent School Bali), and Lea Opdyke (Ocala, FL/West Port) combined to swim 1:35.62 in the 200-free relay, earning sixth.
 
NOTES & QUOTES
- Megan Smith (Philadelphia, PA/Nazareth Academy) was 16th in the B-Final and Opdyke was 22nd in the C-Final of the 500-free.
- In the C-Final of the 200-IM Rachel Hutchins (Elkridge, MD/Annapolis Area Christian School) swam 21st.
- Morgan took 19th and Mishakova was 21st in the C-Final of the 50-free.
