In last season's MAAC Semifinals, she recorded a career-high two defensive saves against Monmouth. She is currently tied for third in the MAAC this season with two defensive saves. Â Â
- Randazzo has been a four-year starter for the Broncs, appearing in 68 games. She has scored 11 goals and added nine assists for 31 career points. As a freshman, she recorded one defensive save (the only one of her career). This season, she has dished out three assists. As a freshman and sophomore she scored four goals apiece. As a freshman, she also had a career-best four assists. She has twice been named to the MAAC All-Academic Team and she's earned Second Team All-MAAC honors twice as well.
- Rider has won three straight games and six of their last eight contests. At home in 2018, the team is 1-2 with a pair of one-goal setbacks.
- Last time out, Rider raced past LIU Brooklyn, 5-2, in MAAC play. The Broncs are 1-1 in conference clashes this fall. In the victory, freshman
Carly Brosious scored the game-winning goal and added an assist, while Classmate
Tess van Ommeren had two goals and an assist. Also in the victory, junior
Tess Coorens scored twice. Â
- On Monday, a pair of Broncs earned weekly awards from the MAAC. Junior
Tess Coorens was tabbed as the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week and freshman
Carly Brosious was honored as the MAAC Co-Rookie of the Week. Both players earned weekly accolades from the league for the first time in their careers.
- Coorens continued her solid play for the Broncs as Rider went 2-0 last week. She scored two goals and recorded a pair of defensive saves for Rider in wins over VCU and LIU Brooklyn. In a 2-1 overtime win at VCU, Coorens had a career-high two defensive saves. She closed the week with two goals in a 5-2 victory over the Blackbirds in MAAC play. It marked her first career multi-goal game. She is currently second in the MAAC with nine goals. Â
- Brosious continued to impress on the pitch for the Broncs in Rider's victories last week. She scored two goals and added two assists. Both of her goals on the week were game-winners. In a 2-1 overtime victory against VCU, she scored in overtime. She also added an assist on Rider's first marker of the contest. She followed that up with the game-winning goal and an assist in a MAAC win versus the Blackbirds.
