Rider at Princeton Relays
PRINCETON-The Broncs competed at the Princeton Relays Friday night.
Highlights included senior Marcellus Manning (Richland/Buena) winning the 60m hurdles in an IC4A qualifying time of 8.23 and freshman Daequan Kim (Bordentown) winning the 400m (51.10) and placing second in the 60m dash (7.01).
Also for the Rider men junior John Clark (Pennsville) placed third in the wt. throw (16.56m) and seventh in the shot put (14.69m).
The men's 4 x 400 relay team of freshman Jammar Lim (Ewing), freshman James Burroughs (West Orange), freshman David Hightower (Easton, Pa.) and Kim placed second (3:23.32).
For the Rider women, senior Alicia Price (Voorhees/Eastern) placed third in the wt. throw (15.56m) and fifth in the shot put (12.89m) and freshman Erin McMullin (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) placed fourth in the 400 (1:00.17)
Freshman Caitlin Vanek (Riegelsville, PA/Wilson) placed sixth in the long jump (5.25m) and seventh in the triple jump (10.66) and junior Shaylah Counts (Newark/Malcolm Shabazz) placed sixth in the 60m dash (8.09)
The women's 4 x 400 relay team of Counts, freshman Erin McMullin (Philadelphia, PA/Nazareth), freshman Ashley Hunter (Northampton, Pa.) and freshman Lauren Findley (Hallstead, Pa./Blue Ridge) placed third (4:07.20).
Also for the Rider men, freshman Perry Asare (Lindenwold) placed fourth in the triple jump (13.31m) and ninth in the long jump (6.53m), freshman Tyree Leonard (Browns Mills/Pemberton) placed sixth in the high jump (1.86m), junior Brian Leggett (Old Chatham, NY/Chatham) placed sixth in the pole vault (4.20m) and senior Brandon Wolf (Lititz, PA/Warwick) placed eighth in the wt. throw (14.90m).
