Men’s Soccer Hosts Quinnipiac for Metro Conference Opener at Ben Cohen Field

  • After the Broncs 3-2 win over La Salle on September 12, men's soccer rounded off their non-conference schedule with a 4-1-1 record, their best start to a season since the 2024 campaign when they started with a 6-2-0 run. The Broncs start to the 2026 season is the best out of every other program in the Metro Conference. 
  • Against the Explorers, Drew heil got off the mark, scoring his first goal of the year to take a 1-0 lead while Ryan Kuldanek scored the eventual winner against la Salle for his first goal of the campaign.
  • The Broncs, after previously being unranked, came in at the No. 10 spot on the September 15 United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll for their flying start to the 2026 campaign.
  • Chiemeka Azurunwa, Emmanuel Dan-Adokiene, and Patryk Rojek still sit tied at the top of the team points leader board with four each. Drew Heil's single goal and assist comes in with three points while Gavin Faracchio, Ryan Kuldanek, and Ryan Vaubel have all logged two points in six games.
  • With a record of 3-1-0 in goal, Marius Helias has logged 15 saves in four starts for the Broncs.
  • Quinnipiac has started the 2026 season off with a 2-3-0 record, logging wins against Providence and Yale while falling to Missouri State, New haven, and Stony Brook.
  • Taehyeon Lim leads the Bobcats with 10 points in five games, scoring four goals while recording two assists.
  • In five starts, Alexander Hansen has recorded 27 saves while allowing 12 goals.
  • Since 2013, Rider and Quinnipiac have played in 14 total meetings, with the Broncs having the edge in the series 8-5-1 while maintaining a 3-3-0 record at Ben Cohen. The Broncs last win against the Bobcats came in 2024, as Rider defeated Quinnipiac 2-0 in Lawrenceville.
