Before Rider:
Spent two seasons at West Virginia, playing five matches as a true freshman before suffering a season-ending injury… West Virginia reached the NCAA College Cup Semifinals in his freshman season… Attended Middletown North High School… Also played for the Players Development Academy in the club ranks… Ninth-ranked player in New Jersey by Top Drawer Soccer… Four-year captain for PDA MLS Next Team… Made the U16 semifinals of MLS Cup… Made U17 & U19 quarterfinals of MLS Cup.

Son of Keri and Chris Vaubel… Majoring in sports management with a business minor… Has an older brother, CJ, and a younger sister, Alex… Father, Chris, played basketball at FDU.
