PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Rider University field hockey team was defeated Sunday morning at Temple, falling 5-0. The Broncs fall to 0-6 on the season, while the Owls improve to 3-3.
After a scoreless 15 minutes of play, Temple eventually opened the scoring with just over a minute to play in the first half.
The Owls took complete control of the game in the third quarter, scoring three unanswered to push the advantage to 4-0. Temple then added a goal in the fourth to produce the final score.
