Men's Soccer opens their 2026 home campaign at ben Cohen Field on Friday, August 28 with a 7:00 p.m. match against the visiting Howard Bison in Lawrenceville.
The Broncs got off the mark in 2026 with a 1-0 win against James Madison on August 20, with Emmanuel Dan-Adokiene's 23^rd minute goal sealing men's soccer's first win against a G5/P4 school since 2017.
For his actions against the Dukes, Bronc's goalkeeper Marius Helias was named the metro Conference Defensive Player of the Week with his four saves against JMU. Helias' last second save in the first half against the Dukes came in at the No. 2 spot on the SportsCenter Top 10 for August 21.
Along with Dan-Adokiene, Chiemeka Azurunwa, Drew Heil, and Ryan Vaubel logged two shots against the Dukes, with Heil, Vaubel, and Daniel Grider logging shots on goal.
The Bison have lost their first two matches of the season away at both Delaware and Virginia Tech by scores of 1-0 and 7-0 respectively.
In 2025, Howard recorded a record of 5-11-2, winning against VMI, Central Connecticut State, Chicago State, Saint Francis, and Virginia State while notching draws against Stonehill and Navy.
Daniil Kaban leads the team with four shots, logging a shot on goal against Virginia Tech on August 23. Liam Keiller has logged 13 saves in goal for the Bison across his two starts for Howard.
Friday's match will play host to the first ever matchup between the Broncs and the Bison in program history.
