EDISON, NJ – Damere Lassiter highlighted the Rider men's indoor track and field team this week, earning MAAC Weekly honors, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Lassiter was named MAAC Field Performer of the Week for the second time this season after posting a mark of 16.00 meters in the shot put at the Penn Invitational. The throw ranks sixth all-time in program history, stands as the top mark in the MAAC this season, and qualifies for IC4A competition. Lassiter also recorded a 16.04-meter throw in the weight throw

The Broncs return to action on Feb. 6 when they compete at the RU Scarlet Knights Open.
