CLEVELAND, OH - Tyler Klinsky earned his third MAC East Division Wrestler of the Week honor this season, and the final one of the year, following a perfect 18-0 dual meet mark, the league office announced Tuesday morning.
Klinsky capped off the regular season in dominant fashion, finishing a perfect 18-0 in dual matches at 125 pounds. Ranked No. 14 nationally, Klinsky secured an 18-2 technical fall in the second period over Brady Pruett in Rider's regular season finale at UPenn to complete his unbeaten dual slate. Klinsky closes the regular season with a team-best 22-3 overall record and has extended his current winning streak to 15 matches, with his last loss coming in December. His 18-0 dual meet record is the program's first undefeated dual season since Ethan Laird went 12-0 in 2022-23.
He is also 6-2 against nationally ranked opponents this season, further highlighting his dominant year.
