Men's Golf Picked 8th in Preseason Coaches' Poll

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – Rider University Men's Golf was picked to finish 8th in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced today by the conference office.

Men's Golf took 43 points, coming in ahead of Merrimack, Canisius, and Saint Peter's, a year after the team placed 6th at the 2025 MAAC Championships. Sophomore Zachary Fisher was the Broncs' highest finisher who is returning this season, placing 21st at the Championships with a score of 77 (+5). Two additional returners, Andrew Bilson and Jacob Delaney, also finished in the top 50. Rider has finished in the top 6 as a team each year a tournament has been held since 2015, winning the MAAC Championship in 2022.

Men's Golf opens its season at The Carpetbagger Classic in Urbana, Maryland on March 21st and 22nd. The MAAC Championships will take place in Lake Buena Vista on April 28-30.
