BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The NEC announced its selections for weekly field hockey awards and Rider University's Jade Regnart was honored for their play on the field over the past seven days, being named NEC Defensive Player of the Week.

Regnart did not allow a goal in 30 minutes of action against Mercyhurst Friday. Then Sunday against Davidson, Regnart was in complete control, making a career-high 19 saves, including stopping a penalty stroke to secure the 1-0 win. The 19 saves are the most by any player in the country this season in a shutout win. For the year, Regnart ranks fifth nationally in saves per game, and eighth in save percentage.
