EDISON, NJ – For the second time this season, Isaac Roberts earned MAAC Weekly honors, while Tamrat Snyder collected his first weekly award of the year, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.
Roberts earned MAAC Rookie Performer of the Week honors after winning the 60-meter hurdles at the Penn Select in 8.12 seconds. His time leads the MAAC and also serves as an IC4A qualifying mark.
Snyder claimed MAAC Track Performer of the Week recognition after winning the mile at the Penn Select in a meet-record time of 4:04.37. The performance ranks first in the MAAC by more than 10 seconds, qualifies for IC4As, and stands as the No. 18 mark nationally in the NCAA.
The Broncs return to action on Jan. 16 at the NYC Gotham Cup.
