EDISON, NJ – The MAAC announced selections for Air Force Reserve Women's Basketball Weekly Awards and Rider University's Alena Cofield was named MAAC Rookie of the Week following a strong pair of games.
 
Cofield averaged 17 points, seven rebounds, and four assists as the Broncs went 1-1 over the past seven days. In Rider's win over Siena, Cofield knocked down the go-ahead three with 1:15 that stood as the game-winning shot in the Broncs' 61-59 win. Cofield totaled a career-high 18 points in the contest to go along with a career-high tying seven rebounds. She then poured in 14 points, tying her career-high again with seven rebounds, and added a career-high five assists against Marist.
 
The Broncs are back in action Saturday, hosting Sacred Heart at 2 p.m.
