EDISON, NJ – The MAAC announced selections for post-season awards and honors for women's basketball Wednesday, and Rider's Aliya McIver was named to the MAAC All-Defensive team for her accomplishments this season.
 
McIver and the Broncs finished the year ranked fourth in the MAAC, allowing just 62.1 points per game. The defense was even better in league play, lowering that figure to just 60.6 points allowed per contest against MAAC opponents. Individually, McIver was fourth in the conference with 64 steals, 46 of which came in league games.
