Rider Athletics mourns the passing of Frank Nerwinski '59. A Rider Athletics Hall of Famer after earning All America Honors in 1958, Nerwinski played left fullback in old style of soccer where fullbacks often scored. He served 12 full years on Lawrenceville's Governing Board, three times as mayor and worked 30 years at Johnson & Johnson. His daughter played varsity field hockey at Rider and his son played varsity soccer at Rider and he was active with the Rider Soccer Booster Club.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and again on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrence Township, NJ 08648.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:30AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Interment will be held privately.In lieu of flowers, Frank requested donations in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
