What You Need to Know
- The Rider University men's and women's track and field teams are set to host the 2025 MAAC Outdoor Championships this weekend at the Michael P. Brady Track Complex.
- Both squads enter the meet as favorites to capture their third consecutive MAAC Outdoor Track & Field titles, following back-to-back championship performances in 2023 and 2024.
- The Rider women have claimed five MAAC Outdoor Championships in program history (2004, 2007, 2013, 2023, 2024), while the men have secured four (2011, 2013, 2023, 2024).
- This spring, the Broncs combined for six MAAC weekly honors.
Tamrat Snyder led the way with two awards, while
Jayden DuBard,
Michael Palmer,
Damere Lassiter, and
Grace Medei each earned one.
Men's Outdoor Track and Field
- This season,
Dallas Hohney has rewritten the Rider record books in the 400m, clocking a time of 47.64—good for third in the MAAC behind Sacred Heart's Rafael Mahario and Merrimack's Cory Coulture.
- In the 800m,
Tamrat Snyder holds the top time in the conference at 1:48.95, with Hohney close behind at No. 2 with a mark of 1:51.75.

Noah Taylor ranks fourth in the MAAC in the 1500m, posting a time of 3:50.83.
- In the 400m hurdles, Ethan Pryzgoda sits second in the conference at 53.98, just ahead of teammate
Cortland Webb, who ranks third at 54.67.
- The Broncs also have the top 4x800 relay team in the MAAC. The quartet of Hohney,
Mali Coleman, Snyder, and Taylor leads the league with a time of 7:31.23.
- In field events,
Michael Palmer tops the MAAC in the high jump with a clearance of 2.10m.
Josh Burgess is ranked second in the long jump at 7.15m.
- In the throws,
Jayden DuBard leads the MAAC in the shot put with a mark of 17.35m, followed closely by
Damere Lassiter in second at 16.10m.
Women's Outdoor Track and Field

Grace Medei continues to shine for the Broncs, breaking the program record in the 5000m with a time of 16:38.00 at the Bison Outdoor Classic, placing her third in the MAAC.
Jordan O'Neill follows closely with a time of 16:48.91, which ranks second on the team and third in the conference.
- Medei also posted the second-fastest 10,000m time in Rider history, clocking 35:38.11 to rank third in the MAAC. She holds the top mark in the conference in the 1500m as well, running 4:31.14 at the Sam Howell Invitational.
- Rider's relay squads have been dominant, setting new program records in the 4x100 (46.18), 4x200 (1:39.78), and 4x400 (3:47.13). The Broncs currently hold the top times in the MAAC in the 4x100 (Gioley, Palmer, Johnson, Gosser), 4x400 (Palmer, Rawles, Pinkett, Giloley), and 4x800 (O'Neill, Wallace, Spencer, Fis) relays.

Dylan Giloley ranks third in the MAAC in the 100m (12.03), while
Hailey Palmer and
Taylor Johnson sit third (24.74) and fifth (24.77), respectively, in the 200m. Palmer also ranks second in the conference in the 400m (55.58), just ahead of teammate
Tamara Rawles at third (56.37).
- In the mid-distance events,
Krisantha Spencer and
Lydia Wallace are third and fourth in the MAAC in the 800m, while Wallace also holds the No. 3 spot in the 400m hurdles (1:04.45).
- In the field events,
Samara Jones ranks second in the triple jump with a mark of 12.22m, and
Maura Baker leads the MAAC in the shot put with a throw of 12.97m.
