PRINCETON, NJ – The Rider men's track and field team wrapped up their final meet at the Larry Ellis Invitational on Saturday, ahead of next weekend's MAAC Outdoor Championships.
Javier Santiago placed in the top 15 in the pole vault with a mark of 4.83 meters.
In the 800m final,
Ian Smith secured fourth place with a time of 1:54.11.
Will Foley also finished in the top 15 in the 400m hurdles, crossing the line with a time of 55.14.

Will Foley made some big strides in the hurdles today with a big PR. He's been working really hard the last few weeks, and it was great to see the improvement.
Ian Smith ran a really nice 800 today. This was the most complete race he's run. He's been working on the third 200, and today he really did a great job of executing that part of the race.
