Quotes and Notes
"On the men's side, it's been a tough season. Mount is a really strong program, and Iona has some great athletes as well, so it's been a battle. But what's been impressive about our guys is their resilience. We've faced a lot of adversity, from injuries to illnesses, and that's made this season incredibly challenging. Despite that, they've continued to grow, and I'm amazed by their ability to adapt and find solutions in difficult situations. It's a remarkable quality that they've shown all season long.
Our continued success comes down to having great athletes who are fully committed, not just to their individual development, but to being great teammates and contributing to the culture of the program. Even those who may not have the role they hoped for right now are incredibly supportive and buy into what we're building.
I'm also lucky to have an outstanding coaching staff. They're fully aligned with our vision for the program and do a phenomenal job developing and mentoring our athletes every day.
