DURHAM, NC – Two groups from the men's track and field team competed at separate events on Saturday, with one group taking part in the Duke Invitational in North Carolina and the other at the Bison Outdoor Classic.
Duke Invite
Michael Palmer placed fourth in Group A of the high jump with a mark of 2.01 meters.
Jayden DuBard secured seventh place in the shot put, recording a distance of 16.91 meters.
In the long jump,
Josh Burgess landed a top-15 finish with a leap of 6.89 meters.
Dallas Hohney ran a strong race in the 800 meters, finishing 13th in a competitive field with a time of 1:51.75.

In the 3000m steeplechase event, Mike Laskowski finished in the top 20 (19th) with a time of 9:22.77
Noah Taylor had himself an impressive day finishing in tenth place in the 1500m event (3:50.83)

Mike ran one of his most complete and best races tonight. He was technically really good and he also put himself in great position to have success. He has grown a lot and there is an even bigger performance waiting to happen.
Noah has had a really good outdoor season and he had a really strong performance tonight. He is racing very confidently right now.
