- Rider bounced back from a three-game skid with an 83-78 win at Merrimack on Feb. 28. Six Broncs scored in double figures, led by a career-high 23 from Zion Cruz. T.J. Weeks Jr. (13), Ruben Rodriguez (12), Tariq Ingraham (11), Jay Alvarez (10) and Ife West-Ingram (10) all reached double digits as the Broncs shot a season-high 56.1 percent against the Merrimack zone defense.
- The Broncs enter the weekend of games tied for ninth in the MAAC Standings. Rider could finish as high as the No. 8 seed or as low as a tie for 11th and out of the 10-team MAAC Championship field. Rider would clinch a berth with two wins over Canisius and Niagara.
- T.J. Weeks Jr. has been the Broncs' leading scorer, averaging 13.9 points per game. He's scored in double figures 25 times in 28 games played, including a season-high 23 points vs. Siena.
- Rider leads the series with the Griffs, 42-18. The Broncs fell on Jan. 10 at Canisius to extend to a nine-game losing streak and snap the Griffs' season-opening 14-game losing streak. 10 of the last 14 meetings between the Broncs and Griffs have been decided by four points or less.
- The Griffs are led by Paul McMillan IV, who's averaged 20.0 points per game, just behind Merrimack's Bud Clark (20.1 ppg.) for the league lead. Tana Kopa has chipped in with 13.2 ppg. Jasman Sangha (9.2 ppg.) and Dylan Godfrey (8.6 ppg.) have also made strong scoring contribution, while Cam Palesse has grabbed a team-high 4.9 rebounds per game and Anthony Benard paces Canisius at 3.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
- 13th-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 203-201 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
