ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Rider University men's swimming and diving team is ninth through the opening day of competition at the 2025 ECAC Swimming and Diving Championships. The Broncs totaled 48 points on day one, while the US Naval Academy leads the meet with 288.5 points.
In the 50-free,
Billy Ruddy (Newton, NJ/Kittatinny Regional) swam 20.40 to claim eighth place.
In the 400-medley relay,
Nicholas Lane (Hackettstown, NJ/Lane Academy), Ruddy,
Tivon Benjamin (Palm Bay, FL/St. Anthony's Secondary School), and
Ethan Rogowski (Waterford, NY/Shenendehowa) closed out the night with a swim of 3:17.16 to claim second.
