Quotes and Notes
"What an outstanding day by the women. They showed so much grit, determination, and pride today. I'm so proud of their effort and commitment to the team. We faced a bunch of adversity yesterday and the women responded beautifully today. They stepped up with a big response that was championship worthy. Rider found a way today.
The staff did an outstanding job of getting the athletes ready for today. I'm so grateful to have great coaches but also great people.
I'm so grateful for Mariah. She has been everything for this program. She's been a star in every MAAC meet and she unfortunately suffered an injury in the long jump yesterday but she gracefully competed in the hurdles and dash to earn all important two points. It's huge testament to her character and that the team is really important.
Jordan was great this weekend. She ran two outstanding races in the mile and the 3000 meters today to score big points for the team. She is such a tough performer for this team.
It was great to see Chika get the win in the shot put. They were huge points for the team. She gave us a great effort when we needed it.
Dylan has had a great freshman year and it was really nice to see her recognized tonight. She is a fierce competitor with a bright future.
Hailey has had a rough year overcoming tough circumstances and she fought so hard back not just to compete but to be great. And she was great. She just has so much heart and soul."
