- Rider returns to action Friday, when it plays host to Fairfield.
- Rider Athletics is enhancing the game day experience for fans at home men's basketball games during the 2024-25 season. The new "Broncs Fan Zone," located in the Student Recreation Center Atrium adjacent to Alumni Gym, will include enhanced concessions, a live pregame radio show with special guests hosted by 107.7 The Bronc and the introduction of alcohol sales. - Rider dropped a heartbreaker, 66-65, Feb. 16 at Saint Peter's. The Broncs were whistled for a touch foul near halfcourt with 3.6 seconds remaining and Bryce Eaton made two free throws to win it.
- The Broncs had won two straight in dramatic fashion, with Tank Byard's buzzer beater pushing Rider past Siena on Feb. 8 and a comeback from down 13 points in the second half at Iona in a 74-71 win on Feb. 14.
- T.J. Weeks Jr. has been the Broncs' leading scorer, averaging 13.9 points per game. He's scored in double figures 22 times in 25 games played, including a season-high 23 points vs. Siena.
- Rider is 9-2 this season when holding the opposition to fewer than 72 points. The losses to Merrimack (Feb. 2) and Saint Peter's (Feb. 16) are the Broncs' only losses when allowing fewer than 72.
- The Stags won the first meeting of the year, 78-75, getting a Peyton Smith tip-in with 1.6 seconds remaining to break a 75-75 tie after the Broncs erased a 14-point second-half deficit. Fairfield has won each of the last three meetings and holds a 40-36 lead in the all-time series. 
- The Stags are led by Prophet Johnson, whose 11.6 ppg., 7.3 rpg., 1.6 spg. are all team bests. Deon Perry (9.5 ppg.), Jamie Bergens (9.2 ppg., 2.8 apg.) and Braden Sparks (8.7 ppg.) are next in the scoring column, while Louis Bleechmore (7.3 ppg.) and Peyton Smith (7.0 ppg.) have also made strong contributions.
 - The Broncs were picked seventh in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- 13th-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 202-199 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
- Only John Carpenter (292) has more wins at Rider.
