GENEVA, OH– The Rider University men's swimming and diving team is second through the opening day of competition at the 2025 MAAC Swimming and Diving Championships. The Broncs totaled 60 points on day one, while Fairfield leads the meet with 77 points.
In the 200-medley relay,
Nicholas Lane (Hackettstown, NJ/Lane Academy),
Billy Ruddy (Newton, NJ/Kittatinny Regional),
Tivon Benjamin (Palm Bay, FL/St. Anthony's Secondary School), and
Cesar Alvarez (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/The Ashton School) swam 1:28.49 to take fifth place.
In the 1-meter diving event,
Stavros Xantheas (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) scored 262.15 to take second and
Steven Figueroa (Whittier, CA/La Serna) scored 246.30 for fourth.
