- Rider returns to action Sunday, when it plays host to Merrimack.
- Rider Athletics is enhancing the game day experience for fans at home men's basketball games during the 2024-25 season. The new "Broncs Fan Zone," located in the Student Recreation Center Atrium adjacent to Alumni Gym, will include enhanced concessions, a live pregame radio show with special guests hosted by 107.7 The Bronc and the introduction of alcohol sales. This initiative is designed to enhance the fan experience while continuously ensuring a safe and family-friendly environment.

Kevin Baggett's 200th career victory, all at Rider. He became the fourth coach to win 200 games with a MAAC program or programs and just the second to accomplish the feat at a single MAAC institution.

T.J. Weeks Jr. has been the Broncs' leading scorer, averaging 13.3 points per game. He's scored in double figures 17 times in 20 games played, including a season-high 21 points at Fairfield.
- Rider is 7-0 this season when holding the opposition to fewer than 72 points.
- Rider and Merrimack are meeting for the first time in the two programs' histories. The Warriors joined the MAAC to begin the 2024-25 academic year, five years after joining the Division I ranks in the Northeast Conference.
- The Warriors are led by Philadelphia and West Catholic H.S. product Adam "Budd" Clark, who averages 19.1 points, 5.9 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. Matt Becht (10.0 ppg.) also averages in double figures, while Devon Savage (9.7 ppg.), Sean Trumper (8.0 ppg., 6.0 rpg.) and Bryan Etumnu (7.4 ppg., 5.3 rpg., 2.3 bpg.) have also made strong contributions.
