- The Rider wrestling team travels to face No. 18 West Virginia on Sunday afternoon.
- This will be the Broncs' second ranked opponent in their last three duals.

Last Time Out
- Rider is coming off a 24–16 win over Big Ten foe Michigan State on Nov. 16.
- Six Broncs earned wins: Tyler Klinsky, Will Betancourt, Elijah Griffin, Brendon Abdon, Enrique Munguia, and Brock Zurawski.

History vs West Virginia
- Rider is 1–3 all-time against West Virginia, with the series dating back to the 1999–2000 season.
- The Broncs' lone win came in 2017 with a 28–6 victory at a quad meet hosted by Pittsburgh.
- The teams last met a season ago, when Rider hosted and fell 31–9.

Scouting the Mountaineers
- West Virginia is coming off a 3–0 sweep at its home quad, posting wins over Glenville State (37–9), Princeton (25–9), and Appalachian State (31–12).
- The Mountaineers went 10–7 overall and 4–6 in the Big 12 last season.
- WVU sent five wrestlers to the NCAA Championships a year ago, producing one All-American in his final season, Peyton Hall.
- They return four NCAA qualifiers: Jett Skrickenberger (125), Jordan Titus (141), Ty Watter (157) and Ian Bush (184), 
- WVU also added Oklahoma transfer Willie McDougald, a three-time NCAA qualifier.
- 2024 All-American Ty Watters returns to the lineup healthy and leads WVU into Sunday's dual, coming in as the nation's No. 1 wrestler at 157 lbs.
