CLEVELAND, OH – The Mid-American Conference unveiled the 2025-26 MAC Wrestling Preseason Poll Thursday morning, projecting the Rider wrestling team to finish fourth with five Broncs ranked in the top five of their respective weight classes.
The Broncs are coming off a strong 2024-25 campaign that saw them go 5-2 in MAC duals and finish fifth at the MAC Championships.
George Mason tops this year's poll with 103 points, followed by Central Michigan (89.5), Lock Haven (85), Rider (75), and Edinboro (72) rounding out the top five.
Leading the way for Rider is returning NCAA Qualifier
Brock Zurawski, ranked No. 1 at 197 lbs after capturing a MAC title last season.
Tyler Klinsky returns at No. 2 at 125 lbs, sitting just behind Northern Illinois' Blake West.
Will Betancourt comes into the season at No. 5 in the conference at 133 lbs.

Elijah Griffin debuts at No. 3 at 141 lbs, while returning NCAA qualifier
Enrique Munguia enters the season ranked No. 3 at 174 lbs after moving up a weight class following his MAC Championship at 165 lbs last season.
Zurawski, Klinsky, Betancourt, Griffin, and Munguia headline the Broncs' group of wrestlers ranked in the MAC's top five at their respective weight classes.
Rider opens the 2025-26 season at the Princeton Open on Nov. 2.
