What You Need to Know
- The Broncs travel to Virginia to take on No. 13 Iowa State and Bucknell in the Virginia Duals.

Last Time Out
- The Broncs were last in action when they hosted three nationally ranked opponents in Alumni Gym. Rider was able to upset No. 24 Maryland as the highlight of the day. 
- No. 17 Isaac Dean had wins over No. 11 Jaxon Smith (Maryland) and No. 12 Reece Heller (Pittsburgh) on the day.
- Dean now has wins over No. 6 Bennet Berge (South Dakota St), No. 11 Jaxon Smith (Maryland), and No. 12 Reece Hall (Pittsburgh) so far in the 2024 season.

- Two Broncs are in the latest FloWrestling rankings with No. 18 Sammy Alvarez (149 lbs) and No. 17 Isaac Dean (184 lbs).

History vs Iowa State
- The Cyclones lead the Broncs 3-1 in all-time series history dating back to 2006 season. 
- The last time the Broncs defeated Iowa State was in 2017 when Rider sneaked out of Ames with a 22-15 victory. 
- The Cyclones are coming off a 24-18 victory over No. 22 West Virginia. Before the dual meet with the Mountatineers, they dropped a 29-10 match to No. 4 Ohio State.
- Iowa State has eight wrestlers in the latest FloWrestling rankings with No. 14 Kysen Terukina (125 lbs), No. 5 Evan Frost (133 lbs), No. 21 Evan Frost (141 lbs), No. 5 Cody Chittum (157 lbs), No. 15 MJ Gaitan (165 lbs), No. 16 Evan Bockman (184 lbs), No. 17 Christian Carroll (197 lbs), and No. 4  Yonger Bastida (285 lbs).
- The Cyclones finished 13-2 overall and 6-1 in the Big 12 conference a season ago.
- Iowa State returns six NCAA qualifiers from a year ago as well as two All-Americans in Evan Frost and Anthony Echemendia.
- Evan Frost placed sixth at the 2024 NCAA Championships while Echemendia placed fifth. 

History vs Bucknell
- The Broncs lead Bucknell 19-14 in all-time series history dating back to the 1971 season. 
- The last matchup came during the 2022-23 season when the Broncs dropped a close 19-14 match on the road. 

About Bucknell
- The Bison are coming off a seventh place finish at the prestigious Ken Kraft Midlands Championships. Six Bison reached the podium in the programs highest finish at the championships. 
- Five wrestlers are in the latest FloWrestling rankings for Bucknell with No. 31 Kurt Phipps (133 lbs), No. 15 Dylan Chappell (141 lbs), No. 25 Noah Mulvaney (165 lbs), No. 24 Myles Takats (174 lbs), and No. 29 Dillon Bechtold (197 lbs). 
- Bucknell finished 8-8 overall and 4-5 in the EIWA conference a season ago. 
- The Bison return four NCAA qualifiers from a year ago in Kurt Phipps, Dylan Chappell, Noah Mulvaney, and Myles Takats.
