- Rider returns to action Thursday, when it plays host to Iona.
- Rider Athletics is enhancing the game day experience for fans at home men's basketball games during the 2024-25 season. The new "Broncs Fan Zone," located in the Student Recreation Center Atrium adjacent to Alumni Gym, will include enhanced concessions, a live pregame radio show with special guests hosted by 107.7 The Bronc and the introduction of alcohol sales. This initiative is designed to enhance the fan experience while continuously ensuring a safe and family-friendly environment.

- After opening the season at 4-2, the Rider lost nine-straight before snapping the skid with three-straight wins at Niagara (Jan. 12), at home vs. Mount St. Mary's (Jan. 16) and at league-leading Marist (Jan. 18).
- Rider and Iona enter the game as part of a five-team logjam tied for fifth in the league standings, with Manhattan, Siena and Fairfield also at 3-4.

Flash Burton scored 17 of his career-high 21 points in the second half to help the Broncs to a 64-57 win at Marist. The win snapped the Red Foxes' nine-game winning streak and was their first league setback of the season. For his effort, Burton was named MAAC Rookie of the Week.

T.J. Weeks Jr. has been the Broncs' leading scorer, averaging 13.1 points per game. He's scored in double figures 13 times in 16 games played, including a season-high 21 points at Fairfield.
- Rider is 6-0 this season when holding the opposition to fewer than 72 points.
- Rider and Iona split last season's regular-season series, with each team winning on its home court. Iona leads the series, 47-29.
- DeJour Reaves leads the Gaels at 16.2 points per game, while Adam Njie also averages in double figures at 11.2 ppg. to go along with a team-best 3.4 assists per game. James Patterson has also chipped in with 9.5 ppg. and 5.9 rpg., while Yaphet Moundi (7.1 ppg.) has led the Gaels in rebounding (6.2 rpg.). Clarence Rupert (6.8 ppg., 4.7 rpg.), part of the 2022 Saint Peter's Elite 8 team, also transferred to Iona after the last two seasons at Southern Illinois.
