Artie Burgess (Coatesville, PA/Coatesville) and junior thrower
Jayden DuBard (Buffalo, NY/Cheektowaga) have been named MAAC Track & Field Performers of the Week, the league office today announced.
Burgess ran 10.44 in the 100m at the Penn Invitational. It is the #2 time in the MAAC and an IC4A qualifying mark. He also ran a leg on the third-place 4x400 meter relay that is the top time in the MAAC, running 3:18.55.
DuBard finished third in the hammer throw and fourth in the shot put at the Penn Invitational. His hammer throw of 56.29m is an IC4A qualifying mark and the #4 mark all-time at Rider. His shot put is an IC4A qualifying mark with a toss of 15.94m. He is leading the MAAC in the shot put.
The Broncs return to action this Thursday through Saturday, when they take part in the Duke Invitational and the Bison Outdoor Classic.
