Women's Basketball Announces Signing of Transfer Turco

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University head women's basketball coach Lynn Milligan has announced an addition to the 2024-25 roster with the signing of transfer Gabby Turco.

"We are excited to have Gabby as part of the Lady Bronc family," said Milligan. "She is a terrific player and an even better person. She will bring experience to our team with her leadership, versatility, and desire to win."

Turco joins the Broncs after two seasons at Saint Anselm and a season at La Salle. Last season with the Explorers, Turco averaged 5.4 points and 2.8 rebounds, playing in 29 games and making eight starts. She finished in double figures four times including a season-high 17 points on 6-for-9 shooting against UMass.

At Saint Anselm, Turco started all 28 games for the Hawks, averaging 15.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists on her way to being named the NE10 Rookie of the Year. In her second season with the Hawks, Turco started all 26 games she played, and averaged 16.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.4 assists, claiming Second-Team All-NE10 honors. A 1,000-point scorer at Wildwood Catholic High School, she was a two-time First-Team All-Cape Atlantic League selection.
