Mariah Stephens (Egg Harbor Township, NJ/Egg Harbor Township) and sophomore jumper
Olivia Smith (Westhampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) have been named MAAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Performers of the Week, the league office today announced.
Stephens won the 100m hurdles in the Rider 5 Way in an ECAC qualifying mark of 14.35 and was on the winning 4x100m relay. Both are the top times in the MAAC.
Smith won the long jump in the Rider 5 Way in 5.77m. It is an ECAC qualifying mark, top mark in the MAAC, and the 5th best mark in Rider history.
The Broncs return to action Thursday through Saturday, splitting the team between the Raleigh Relays and the Sam Howell Invitational.
