- Rider returns home Friday to face MAAC preseason favorite Quinnipiac.  
- Rider Athletics is enhancing the game day experience for fans at home men's basketball games during the 2024-25 season. The new "Broncs Fan Zone," located in the Student Recreation Center Atrium adjacent to Alumni Gym, will include enhanced concessions, a live pregame radio show with special guests hosted by 107.7 The Bronc and the introduction of alcohol sales. - The Broncs opened MAAC play Wednesday with a 78-75 setback at Fairfield. Rider erased a 14-point second-half deficit to take the lead with less than four minutes remaining, but the Stags won it on a tip-in with 1.6 seconds left.
- Tariq Ingraham has posted his first two double-doubles of the season in the last two games - a 12-point, 11-rebound game against Delaware, before going for a career-high 21 points and 14 rebounds at Fairfield.
- T.J. Weeks Jr. matched Ingraham's 21 points, setting a new season high for himself at Fairfield. Ife West-Ingram also found double figures with 10 points.
- T.J. Weeks Jr. has been the Broncs' leading scorer, averaging 13.4 points per game. He's scored in double figures seven times in nine games, including a season-high 21 points at Fairfield.
- Quinnipiac is now 3-5 with wins over Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Maine and Navy. Last time out, the Bobcats fell at Stonehill, 88-74, this past Sunday. 
- The two teams split a pair of meetings last season, with each winning on its home court. Rider's win snapped a stretch of nine QU wins in 10 meetings. The Broncs lead the all-time series with Quinnipiac, 14-11. 
- The Bobcats are led by Preseason MAAC Player of the Year Amarri Monroe, who's averaged 12.6 ppg. and 5.8 rpg. Paul Otieno is right behind him with 12.4 ppg., while grabbing a team-high 8.9 rpg. Savion Lewis has averaged a team-high 5.8 apg. However, Lewis has missed the last two games.
- The Broncs were picked seventh in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. Rider has had unique success in three prior occasions being picked seventh, outperforming their projections with the 1st (2017-18), 2nd (2014-15) and 6th (2016-17) seeds in the MAAC Tournament in those seasons.
- 13th-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 196-188 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
- Only John Carpenter (292) has more wins at Rider.
