- Rider returns to non-conference action Saturday to host Stony Brook.
- Rider Athletics is enhancing the game day experience for fans at home men's basketball games during the 2024-25 season. The new "Broncs Fan Zone," located in the Student Recreation Center Atrium adjacent to Alumni Gym, will include enhanced concessions, a live pregame radio show with special guests hosted by 107.7 The Bronc and the introduction of alcohol sales. This initiative is designed to enhance the fan experience while continuously ensuring a safe and family-friendly environment.

- After opening the season at 4-2, the Rider is looking to snap a four-game losing skid, including setbacks in its MAAC openers at Fairfield and vs. Quinnipiac.

T.J. Weeks Jr. has been the Broncs' leading scorer, averaging 13.1 points per game. He's scored in double figures eight times in 10 games, including a season-high 21 points at Fairfield.
- Stony Brook has won twice this season - at Central Michigan (Nov. 7) and vs. St. Joseph's (Long Island) (Nov. 16). The Seawolves enter having lost five straight.
- Stony Brook has won the last three meetings, including a 55-48 win last season on Long Island, to even the series at 3-3. The Broncs won three-straight games to open the series in February 1971 and January of both 2000 and 2001.
