- Rider returns to non-conference action Saturday to host Stony Brook.   
- Rider Athletics is enhancing the game day experience for fans at home men's basketball games during the 2024-25 season. The new "Broncs Fan Zone," located in the Student Recreation Center Atrium adjacent to Alumni Gym, will include enhanced concessions, a live pregame radio show with special guests hosted by 107.7 The Bronc and the introduction of alcohol sales. - After opening the season at 4-2, the Rider is looking to snap a four-game losing skid, including setbacks in its MAAC openers at Fairfield and vs. Quinnipiac.
- The Broncs erased second-half deficits of 14 (Fairfield) and seven (Quinnipiac)  to tie or take the lead with less than two minutes left before coming up short. 
- Tariq Ingraham has posted his first three double-doubles of the season in the last three games vs. Delaware (12 pts, 11 reb), at Fairfield (career-high 21 pts, 14 reb), vs. Quinnipiac (11 pts, 10 reb).
- Five Broncs - Zion Cruz (15), Ingraham (11), Jay Alvarez (11), Flash Burton (10), T.J. Weeks Jr. (10) - scored in double figures vs. Quinnipiac for the first time since Feb. 18, 2024, at Manhattan.
- T.J. Weeks Jr. has been the Broncs' leading scorer, averaging 13.1 points per game. He's scored in double figures eight times in 10 games, including a season-high 21 points at Fairfield.
- Stony Brook has won twice this season - at Central Michigan (Nov. 7) and vs. St. Joseph's (Long Island) (Nov. 16). The Seawolves enter having lost five straight.
- Stony Brook has won the last three meetings, including a 55-48 win last season on Long Island, to even the series at 3-3. The Broncs won three-straight games to open the series in February 1971 and January of both 2000 and 2001.
- The Seawolves are led by Holy Cross transfer Joe Octave at 13.7 ppg. to go along with 5.1 rpg. CJ Luster has added 13.4 ppg., including 40.3 percent shooting from long range. - The Broncs were picked seventh in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. Rider has had unique success in three prior occasions being picked seventh, outperforming their projections with the 1st (2017-18), 2nd (2014-15) and 6th (2016-17) seeds in the MAAC Tournament in those seasons.
- 13th-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 196-189 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
- Only John Carpenter (292) has more wins at Rider.
