PROVIDENCE, RI – The Rider University men's swimming and diving team finished fifth at the Bruno Invitational, hosted by Brown University. The Broncs scored 469.5 points in the meet, while the host Bears claimed the crown with 2,374 points.
Maxwell Connelly (Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon) was the first individual in an A-Final for the Broncs, swimming 2:01.71 in the 200-breast for eighth place.
To close out the competition,
Billy Ruddy (Newton, NJ/Kittatinny Regional),
Cesar Alvarez (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/The Ashton School),
Alex Boeckx (Folsom, PA/Ridley), and
Ethan Rogowski (Waterford, NY/Shenendehowa) swam 2:59.92 to take sixth in the 400-free relay.
