Last Time Out
The Rider University Wrestling team dominated Edinboro 34-6 with three tech falls from Tyler Klinsky,
Quinn Kinner, and
Colton Washleski. With the win the Broncs stay perfect in the MAC at 3-0 and 3-5 overall and Edinboro moves to 1-7 and 0-3 overall.Â
- Tyler Klinsky picked up his team's best eighth win with bonus points and his sixth tech fall.
- Washleski moved to a team-best 20-5 on the season.
- Rider has now won five of the last six vs Edinboro
- Rider's seven bonus point wins led Rider to their highest team scoring mark since 2019 where they defeated Duke 47-3

- Rider ranks three wrestlers in the Intermat national rankings with #27 Quinn Kinner, #29
Colton Washleski, and #32
David Szuba.
- Rider also had the three wrestlers named in the NCAA Coaches Poll with #25 Kinner, #24 Washleski, and #28 Szuba.

Winner WashleskiÂ
- Colton Washleski has been excellent in tournaments as he was crowned 157 lbs champion as Rider University's Wrestling team competed at the A Better Way Athletics Patriot Open hosted by George Mason University earlier this year.
- Washleski has reached the podium in all three tournaments/opens he's competed in this year including most recently placing 6th at the 59th Ken Kraft Midland Open.
- Washleski currently holds a team-best 20-5Â record being the first Bronc to reach double-digit wins
Big Kinner
- Quinn Kinner secured his second NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022-23, finishing the year with a 24-9 record in his first season at 149. Kinner was able to battle back through the blood rounds at the MAC Championships, finishing third to secure his spot at NCAAs.Â
- Kinner started the year with one of his most impressive performances with Rider after taking down a pair of nationally ranked opponents vs SIUE and Indiana (#21 Caleb Tyus and #6 Graham Rooks)Â
- The Ohio State transfer has been a dominant piece for the Broncs since coming over from OSU where he posted a 38-10 record over two seasons at Ohio State, including a redshirt year as a true freshman in 2018-19.
- The Mullica Hill native returns to the Garden State where he was one of the most impressive wrestlers in the state at Kingsway Regional High School where he won two state titles for the Red Dragons.Â
Kingsway Connection
- Kinner and Bell return to action on the same mat after being NCAA Qualifiers last season. The pair also return to wrestling together at Kingsway Regional in South Jersey.
- Bell was a three-time New Jersey State Place Winner amassing over 150 wins as a Red Dragon
- Kinner was a two-time NJ state champion finishing his career as one of the most decorated wrestlers in school history.
History vs Lock Haven
- Rider and Edinboro are meeting for the 28th time on Friday evening.
- The Bald Eagles lead the series 17-11 and have won each of the last nine.
- Lock Haven has won three of the last four duals
- Last matchup Rider dropped its first MAC dual of the season falling, 21-12, at Lock Haven. #7/#7 Ethan Laird, #33/#26 McKenzie Bell, and Hunter Mays were all able to pick up major decision wins for the Broncs in the dual.
About Lock HavenÂ
- Â Lock Haven host George Mason on Thursday and is set to host the Mat-Town Open II Tournament on Sunday.
- Lock Haven took down Rider last year however both teams shared a MAC East Divison Dual Championship in 2023.
-Lock Haven will enter Thursday's MAC Eastern Division match with George Mason with a 4-7 overall record. The Bald Eagles are 1-1 in MAC duals, which includes a 1-0 mark in MAC East matches.
- Leading the way for the Bald Eagles in their dynamic 1-2-3 punch on the front-end of the lineup at 125, 133 and 141 in Anthony Noto,
Gable Strickland and
Wyatt Henson. All three were ranked Monday in the first edition of the NCAA Coaches' Panel rankings. Noto was listed No. 8 at 125, Strickland was ranked No. 29 at 133 and Henson was tabbed No. 13 at 141.
History vs Bloomsburg
- Rider and Bloomsburg are meeting for 23rd time with Rider holding a 16-6 advantage all-time
- Rider has won each of the last nine over the Huskies
- Last year Rider dominated Bloomsburg, 31-6. Rider would take eight of the 10 bouts on the evening and pick up five bonus-point victories.Â

About Bloomsburg
- Â The Bloomsburg wrestling team had a pair of wins but fell to visiting Lock Haven, 35-9, in Mid-American Conference action
- Bronson Garber and Caden Dobbins both scored wins vs Lock Haven
- A trio of Huskies grabbed MAC top-10 preseason rankings as Josh Mason (New Ringgold, Pa./Blue Mountain) earned the top spot at 141 pounds and Shane Noonan (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton Area) was selected seventh at 285 pounds. Bronson Garber (Millersburg, Pa./Upper Dauphin) was picked 10th at 125 pounds.
- Mason finished second overall at the MAC Championships for the season year in a row and earned a spot at the NCAA Tournament. He posted a 23-16 record for the year including a 9-6 slate in dual matches. He had 11 bonus point wins last year, including nine falls.
 - Noonan posted a 20-13 overall record last season and finished eighth at the MAC championships. He went 9-7 in dual matches and collected a team-best 10 pins during the season. Noonan had 11 bonus point wins for the year.
- Garber finished the year 11-15 and with six bonus point wins. He finished first in the 125-C bracket at the 2022 Journeymen Classic and fifth at the Wilkes Open after going 4-1 in the tournament. He had two pins during the year – one at the Journeymen and one at the Wilkes Open.
- As a team The Bloomsburg wrestling team was ranked 13th to open the year with 28.5 points.
