STATEN ISLAND, NY- The Rider University Women's Track and Field team had an excellent showing at the Villanova Invitational Saturday. The Broncs came out strong in the 400m as Hailey Palmer finished fourth with a time of 56.66. Jordan O'Neill finished third in the 1 mile run with the time of 4:52.46.
In the field events, Natya Glasco finished second in weight throw at 17.45m and Samantha Kamara finished fifth at 16.52m. In the shot put, Glasco and Chika Efobi went 4-5 on Staten Island. Glasco led the Broncs with a 13.55m mark, Efobi placed fifth with a 13.50m mark. In the pole vault, Gabrielle Vetere finished fourth with a mark of 3.55m and Kianna Tucker finished 8th with the mark of 3.40m. Savanna Marcantonio finished second in the high jump at 1.60m.
