EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced its selections for women's basketball players of the week and Rider University's Taylor Langan was honored for her performance over the past seven days. She was named Hercules Tires MAAC Player of the Week.
 
Langan was unstoppable in the Broncs' 67-57 overtime victory over Lehigh Saturday afternoon. The graduate student scored 31 points and hauled in 16 rebounds in the contest. It was the second-highest scoring output of the season by anyone in the MAAC and third-highest rebound total in a game for any MAAC performer.
 
Langan scored the Broncs' first eight points in the game and had 27 of her 31 in regulation, including a go-ahead shot with less than five seconds remaining, before Lehigh forced the game into the extra session.
 
Rider returns to action Thursday when the Broncs host Iona at 7 p.m.
