MONTGOMERY, NY – The Rider University men's cross country team ran their best race of the 2023 season with a first-place finish out of 20 teams at the Manhattan College XC Invitational Saturday afternoon. Senior Tamrat Snyder (Mohnton, PA/Twin Valley) again was the Broncs' top performer, finishing the 8K course in 24:35.4, good for second of 189 finishers. Rider finished with two athletes in the top five, with Snyder and junior Noah Taylor finishing fifth with a time of 25:07.2.
Gobi Thurairajah was next for Rider in 25:31.5 (9th), ahead of Dominik Lisicky (25:26.5, 10th) and Travis Lahr (25:39.8, 17th) to round out the Broncs' top five finishers in New York.
