DALLAS – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its Midseason Watch List for the 2023 NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award and Rider University's Danny Kirwin is one of 56 athletes on the list.
 
Kirwin is currently third in the country with 11 saves, just one shy of the nation's leaders. He has done so while maintaining a 1.78 ERA. The Graduate student leads the Broncs with 50 strike outs in 35.1 innings and is also nationally ranked with five wins this season.
 
The NCBWA will announce the finalists on Wednesday, June 7 with the winner being announced at the 2023 College World Series on Friday, June 16.
