Rider University's Wrestling Team returns to Lawrenceville as they open up the Broncs Zoo for the first time hosting #6 Michigan.

Last Time Out
-#16 Quinn Kinner picked up his second win over a nationally-ranked opponent as the Rider University Wrestling team scored their first dual win of the year 29-6 over SIUE.
- Kinner moved to 2-0 with both victories being over ranked opponents.
- Tyler Klinsky improved to 4-3 with all four wins being with bonus points.
- David Szuba secured a major decision which is his second bonus point win of the year 

Broncs in the Rankings
- Rider ranks four wrestlers in the Intermat national rankings with #29 Richie Koehler, #32 McKenzie Bell, #16 Quinn Kinner, and #30 David Szuba.

Big Kinner
- Quinn Kinner secured his second NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022-23, finishing the year with a 24-9 record in his first season at 149. Kinner was able to battle back through the blood rounds at the MAC Championships, finishing third to secure his spot at NCAAs. 
- Kinner is coming off his most impressive week with Rider after taking down a pair of nationally ranked opponents vs SIUE and Indiana (#21 Caleb Tyus and #6 Graham Rooks) 
- The Ohio State transfer has been a dominant piece for the Broncs since coming over from OSU where he posted a 38-10 record over two seasons at Ohio State, including a redshirt year as a true freshman in 2018-19.
- The Mullica Hill native returns to the Garden State where he was one of the most impressive wrestlers in the state at Kingsway Regional High School where he won two state titles for the Red Dragons. 

Kingsway Connection
- Kinner and Bell return to action on the same mat after wrestling together at Kingsway Regional in South Jersey.
- Bell was a three-time New Jersey State Place Winner amassing over 150 wins as a Red Dragon
- Kinner was a two-time NJ state champion finishing his career as one of the most decorated wrestlers in school history.

History vs Michigan 
-The Broncs and Wolverines will meet for the second time on Sunday with Michigan holing a 1-0 advantage in the series.
- The lone match took place in Virginia as a part of the Virginia Duals where Michigan took down Rider 22-12

About the Wolverines
- The Wolverines currently boast seven wrestlers ranked nationally at their respective weight classes, including six in the top 10 according to InterMat: No. 8 DeAugustino (125), No. 7 Cannon (133), No. 6 Lewan (157), No. 3 Amine (165), No. 4 Griffith (174) and No. 3 Davison (Hwt).
- Michigan also returns two All-Americans and three total NCAA qualifiers from its 2022-23 starting lineup. Will Lewan is a three-time All-American and two-time placewinner at 157 pounds, claiming fifth place in 2022 and eighth place last season. Cameron Amine is a three-time All-American 165 pounds with back-to-back fourth-place finishes after claiming seventh as a freshman.
- Michigan's four All-America graduate transfer are slated to make their Maize & Blue debut in this weekend's dual competitions. Michael DeAugustino (125 pounds), Chris Cannon (133), Shane Griffith (174) and Lucas Davison (Hwt) combined for 11 All-America honors while competing for Northwestern and Stanford. Griffith captured the 2021 NCAA title and was a four-time All-American and three-time placewinner at 165 pounds. DeAugustino placed fourth at NCAAs in 2022, Cannon was a two-time seventh-place finisher, and Davison posted a pair of top-six finishes, claiming fifth place last season.
