What You Need To Know
- Both the Rider men and women fell in the season opener against Seton Hall.
- The Fairfield men and women both took first in the Fairfield Invitational with the men competing against Southern Connecticut State and the women defeating Southern Connecticut State, Central Connecticut State, and Sacred Heart.
- In March, the men's swimming and diving team won their 11
th-straight MAAC Championship.
- The Bronc men claimed eight of the nine available first-place votes to take the top spot in the MAAC Preseason Coaches Poll. Fairfield was picked to finish fourth last season.

Lucas Racevicius (Watertown, CT/Holy Cross) is the top returner for the Broncs. The graduate student won a gold medal in the 200-IM (1:49.09) and 100-back (48.35), while adding a bronze medal in the 200-back (1:46.96) at the 2023 MAAC Championships.
- In the season opener against Seton Hall last week, Racevicius,
Billy Ruddy (Newton, NJ/Kittatinny Regional),
Nicholas Lane (Hackettstown, NJ/Lane Academy), and
Bobby Irwin (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) set a Coppola Pool record in the 200-medley relay, touching the wall in 1:31.55.

Marcas Racevicius (Watertown, CT/Holy Cross) was the top scorer in the MAAC during the opening week of competition, earning MAAC Diver of the Week honors.
- The Rider women were picked to finish tied for sixth in the preseason coaches poll. The Stags were named the preseason favorite to repeat on the women's side.
- The Rider women return reigning MAAC Rookie Diver of the Meet
Karyn Creelman (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin). Creelman was sixth in the 1-meter and eighth in the 3-meter at the MAAC Championships.

Hannah Yemec swept the 100- and 200-fly in her first career meet last week.

Maiti O'Connor (South Plainfield, NJ/The Wardlaw-Hartridge School) had the conference's top mark on the 1-meter and was third best on the 3-meter to earn MAAC Diver of the Week honors.
- The Broncs and Stags have not met in a dual meet since the 2016-17 season, a win for both the Rider men and women.
