PHILADELPHIA – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team fell 164-91 in their final dual meet of the season against Penn Friday evening. The Broncs fall to 0-8 on the season, while the Quakers improve to 5-5 on the year.
The Broncs won five events on the day.
Logan Wilson (Muskego, WI/Waukesha South) and
Gianna Farina (Easton, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) finished one-two in the 200-breast with times of 2:26.91 and 2:41.06.
In the 500-free,
Aviah Dahlgren (Honesdale, PA/Wyoming Seminary College Prep) and
Ashlee Limbacher finished one-two, stopping the clock at 5:17.95 and 5:20.75.
Kylie McMahon (Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's) and
Giavanna Lupi (Vineland, NJ/Vineland) swam one-two in the 100-fly. The pair touched the wall at 59.99 and 1:01.30.
Wilson and Farina had their second one-two finish of the night in the 100-IM, finishing in 1:00.93 and 1:09.31.
The Broncs closed out the day with a win in the 400-free relay.
Connar Melcher (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin), McMahon, Dahlgren, and Lupi combined to post a time of 3:37.06.
