CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Virginia scored four first-half goals to defeat the Rider University men's soccer team, 4-0, Monday night at Klockner Stadium. With the loss, the Broncs drop to 0-2, while the Cavaliers are now 2-0.
Four different Cavaliers scored in the 13

th, 35
th and 44
th minutes to create a comfortable cushion for Virginia. Following an 8-0 discrepancy in first-half shots, the Broncs battled back with a 5-0 margin in the second. But Rider couldn't find the back of the net as Virginia closed out the victory.
