EDISON, NJ – Rider University's
Teagan Schein-Becker was named MAAC Track Athlete of the Week Wednesday by the conference after her performance over the past seven days.
"Teagan is competing on a whole new level right now," said Rider Head Coach
Bob Hamer. "She is full of confidence every time she steps on the track."
Schein-Becker won the 800-meters at the Rider 5-Way by over 14 seconds with her time of 2:10.06. Her time ranks second all-time in program history, less than a second off the program mark set by
Kristin Siegle last season. It is also an ECAC qualifying mark and the top time in the MAAC by over 11 seconds.
The Broncs return to action Thursday at the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg. VA.
