EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced its selections for women's basketball Players of the Week Monday, and Makayla Firebaugh was selected as Hercules Tires MAAC Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
 
Firebaugh scorched the nets during the MAAC/ASUN Challenge in Dublin, averaging 21.0 points on 45.2% (14-31) shooting, including 55.0% (11-20) from behind the arc. The junior added 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game. In Rider's win over North Florida, Firebaugh had 25 points, seven rebounds, a block, and a steal.
 
The Broncs are off for the Thanksgiving holiday and will return to the court Wed., Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. when they host Lehigh.
