LEWISBURG, PA – The Rider University men's swimming and diving team remains in fifth place after the second day at the Bucknell Invitational. The Broncs have compiled 457.5 points.
Lucas Racevicius (Watertown, CT/Holy Cross),
David Cooper (Spring, TX/Klein Oak),
Jack Ruggieri (Bellmawr, NJ/Gloucester Catholic), and
Joe Gewartowski (Fort Washington, PA/Upper Dublin) got the Broncs off to a strong start with a fourth-place finish in the 200-medley relay, posting a time of 1:30.43.
David Rucci (Sewell, NJ/Gateway Regional) stopped the clock at 4:03.87 in the 400-IM to take sixth. Cooper swam 56.19 for fifth in the 100-breast.
In the 100-back, Racevicius swam 48.19 for the victory.
Sean Binning (Annandale, VA/W.T. Woodson) scored 240.85 in the 1-meter for sixth place.

Cesar Alvarez (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/The Ashton School),
Ethan Rogowski (Waterford, NY/Shenendehowa), and
Andrew Smolar (Washingtonville, NY/Washingtonville) posted a time of 6:57.25 in the 800-free relay for eighth place to close out the day.
